Inaugural preci (Professionals & Researchers in Early Childhood Intervention) Conference 2022

Excellence and Equity in Early Childhood Intervention

We look forward to welcoming you to the inaugural PRECI Conference. PRECI is a new and unique Australian research-to-practice network specifically focussed on the area of young children with developmental disabilities.

The inaugural committee members include professionals and researchers with significant experience in the early childhood intervention field.

This conference will provide professionals working in the field of Early Childhood Intervention with a valuable opportunity to interact with colleagues locally, nationally and internationally to bring contemporary research and practice together. The Conference Committee are finalising the programme which includes renowned national and international keynote speakers. Confirmed keynote speakers include:

  • Dr Bonnie Kielty (US) Professor and Chair of Special Education, Hunter College, CUNY
  • Dr Peter Rosenbaum (Canada) Professor of Paediatrics McMaster University. Co-founder CanChild Center for Childhood Disability Research
  • Prof Andrew Whitehouse (Aus) Professor of Autism Research at the Telethon Kids Institute and The University of Western Australia. Autism CRC Research Strategy Director, President of the Australasian Society for Autism Research
  • Prof Katrina Williams (Aus) Professor and Head of Paediatrics Department at Monash University, Paediatrician and Public Health Physician, APEX Australia Chair of Developmental Medicine at the University of Melbourne.
